Membership in the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America



We welcome all lovers of our delightful Dandie Dinmont Terriers and invite you to apply for membership in our community.

  • We look forward to having you as a member of our Dandie community. Please follow this short application process. We request that you have two sponsors, both current club members each with a minimum of one year membership, whom you know. They will be asked to fill out a “Sponsor Form” on your behalf. You will need their email addresses to complete this form. If you do not have sponsors, or know any current members of the DDTCA, contact the membership chair to assist you.

  • Please either mail your dues as a check payable to DDTCA to the club treasurer (address below), or submit your payment online using the STORE on the ddtca.org website. While your application is being processed, you will receive an online copy of the M&P Newsletter for your enjoyment. If for any reason, your application is denied, dues will be returned immediately.

Your membership in the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America will provide you with:

  • A subscription to the Club’s quarterly magazine, Mustard & Pepper, which contains news and photos of Dandie happenings and articles of importance related to our breed
  • A copy of the Club’s membership roster which will help put you in touch with other members of the Dandie community
  • A copy of the Dandie Dinmont Illustrated Standard so you will know what to look for when selecting a Dandie
  • Invitations to participate in Outreach events of all types
  • The opportunity to get expert information and advice about:
    • training puppies
    • grooming your Dandie
    • preparing and entering your dog in conformation, rally, agility, and other competitions
    • training your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Certificate and therapy work
    • breeding through the Club’s mentoring program
  • The opportunity to be part of a community of Dandie lovers who want to do everything possible to save our beloved breed
  • The right to vote on Club issues and participate in elections
  • The opportunity to attend the Club’s yearly National Specialty event
