The Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America strongly encourages Juniors to show Dandies, and annually rewards the top Junior who earns the most AKC Juniors points exhibiting a Dandie Dinmont Terrier. The award, $500.00 and a congratulatory Certificate, is issued based on points accumulated January 1 through December 31, and is open to any Junior Handler. Amy Judge, a 12 year old from northeastern Washington, was the first recipient of the DDTCA Junior Handler of The Year Award in 2010.
