Junior Handling

The Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America strongly encourages Juniors to show Dandies, and annually rewards the top Junior who earns the most AKC Juniors points exhibiting a Dandie Dinmont Terrier. The award, $500.00 and a congratulatory Certificate, is issued annually to the Junior Handler who acquires the most ‘Juniors Defeated’ points January 1 through December 31.

Amy, a 12 year old from northwestern Washington, was the first recipient of the DDTCA Junior Handler of The Year Award in 2010. The 2012 Junior Handler of The Year is Cassie; she is also from northwestern Washington.
